OSHA 30-Hour Construction training is a great method for educating construction workers and supervisors about OSHA safety standards. Students who complete this OSHA-authorized course will receive an official OSHA card from the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL). This fully narrated and interactive OSHA Outreach training is a comprehensive overview of standards that OSHA has set in place for job site safety, specifically structured for hazard identification, avoidance, control and prevention.

Our OSHA 30-Hour Construction course promotes a safe and healthful work environment by teaching workers how to identify, predict and avoid hazards in the workplace.

Attendance Policy: SafeTek requires 100% attendance to satisfy course requirements. Students must arrive no later than 30 minutes after start of training to be admitted.

Learning Outcomes: Recognize what worker rights are protected under OSHA and responsibilities an employer has under OSHA. Identify major fall hazards, common caught-in or -between hazards, common struck-by hazards, types of electrocution hazards, ways to select appropriate PPE and lifesaving equipment, major health hazards common to the construction industry. Recognize how to protect oneself from material handling hazards and hand & power tool hazards. Recognize ways to protect oneself from crane hazards. Recognize employer requirements for protecting workers from concrete & masonry hazards, including abatement methods. Identify major steel erection hazards and recognize ways to protect oneself from welding & cutting hazards. Describe types of confined space hazards and recognize ways to protect oneself from confined space hazards. Recognize employer requirements for providing a safety and health program that effectively reduces and prevents employee injury, illness, and fatality. Describe types of health and safety construction hazards and appropriate forms of mitigation.

Course Completion: Upon successful completion of training, students will receive a 30 Hr OSHA course completion certificate. Within 90 days after training completion, students will also receive a 30 Hr Construction OSHA card from the OSHA Training Institute (OTI).
