The SST 2-Hour Pre-Task Safety Meetings course is designed to help construction supervisors and workers understand the importance of conducting effective pre-task safety meetings (also known as “toolbox talks”) before starting work activities.
This course focuses on planning work safely, identifying potential hazards, and communicating safety procedures clearly to the crew. Participants will learn how to review job tasks, assess site-specific risks, and implement proper control measures to prevent accidents and injuries.
The training meets Site Safety Training (SST) requirements established by the New York City Department of Buildings for construction workers and supervisors in New York City.
By completing this course, participants will be better prepared to lead structured safety discussions, improve teamwork, and create a safer work environment on active construction sites.
