• Students should review their existing SST certificates to avoid repeating courses for which they have already received applicable credit.
Description
The 10-Hour SST Management Package (Online) is designed for construction workers and supervisory personnel who need additional Site Safety Training (SST) hours toward obtaining or upgrading their NYC DOB SST credentials.
This package combines three prescribed safety-management courses with four elective courses. Students learn about site safety planning, toolbox talks, pre-task meetings, hazard recognition, emergency awareness and safe construction practices.
WHO THIS PACKAGE IS FOR
This package is intended for construction workers, foremen, competent persons and supervisors who need additional SST training. It is particularly relevant to eligible workers upgrading from an SST Worker Card to an SST Supervisor Card, provided the included courses satisfy their outstanding training requirements.

• 2-Hour Toolbox Talks

• 1-Hour Protection from Sun Exposure

IMPORTANT NOTES
• The three two-hour management courses are SST prescribed courses.
• Protection from Sun Exposure and First Aid and CPR are general electives.
• Flag Person and Confined Space Entry are specialized electives.
• Training credit depends on the student's existing training record and applicable DOB requirements.
• Completion of this package alone does not qualify a student for an SST Supervisor Card.
• Students should confirm their outstanding SST requirements before enrolling.

UPON SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION
Students receive the applicable completion certificates for the seven courses included in this package. Eligible students may apply these courses toward their outstanding NYC DOB SST requirements, including an upgrade from an SST Worker Card to an SST Supervisor Card, subject to DOB's prescribed-course, elective and prior-training requirements.
ONLINE TRAINING
Students complete the package through SafeTek's online learning platform using the identity verification, participation monitoring and assessment procedures required for each course. Self-paced delivery applies only to component courses approved for that format.
