A government-issued photo ID is required for student verification.
Students must have access to a computer, laptop, tablet, or smartphone with a stable internet connection.
Device must include a working camera and microphone for identity verification and/or course proctoring requirements where applicable.
Students must complete all required course hours, participation activities, assessments, and course evaluations to receive completion certificates.
Description
The 6-Hour SST Prescribed Courses Package is an online training program designed to provide students with NYC DOB-approved prescribed Site Safety Training (SST) courses required toward SST Worker or Supervisor card compliance under Local Law 196.
This package includes:
- 2-Hour Site Safety Plan (SSP) Course
- 2-Hour Tool Box Talks Course
- 2-Hour Pre-Task Safety Meetings Course
This package is intended for construction workers and supervisors who need additional prescribed SST training hours to satisfy NYC DOB SST requirements or complete SST card upgrade pathways.
Students will receive training on construction site communication, site safety planning, worker coordination, hazard recognition, and safe work practices in accordance with NYC DOB SST requirements.
Important Notes:
- These courses are NYC DOB-approved prescribed SST courses under Local Law 196.
- This package may be used toward qualifying SST Worker or Supervisor card requirements depending on the student’s existing training history.
- All online training must be completed by the registered student only.
- Identity verification and online participation monitoring is required during the course.
