Description
The 18-Hour SST Upgrade Package (Online) is designed for construction workers, foremen, competent persons and supervisors who have completed qualifying prior SST training and need additional courses toward obtaining an NYC DOB SST Supervisor Card. The package combines Chapter 33 safety training, prescribed safety-management courses and general and specialized electives.
WHO THIS PACKAGE IS FOR
This package is intended for students who already possess a valid 10-Hour SST Worker Card and have completed the 4-Hour Supported Scaffold User & Refresher course. It is designed for eligible workers advancing into foreman, competent person or supervisory roles who need additional SST hours toward upgrading to an SST Supervisor Card. Students must also have qualifying OSHA 30 Construction training and meet all other applicable DOB requirements.

• 2-Hour Site Safety Plan
• 2-Hour Toolbox Talks

• 1-Hour Flag Person
• 1-Hour Confined Space Entry
Total: 18 instructional hours across 8 courses.
SST Card issuance and processing are included and subject to verification of the student's complete training record and eligibility.
IMPORTANT NOTES
• This package is intended for students who already possess a valid 10-Hour SST Worker Card and have completed the 4-Hour Supported Scaffold User & Refresher course.
• OSHA 30 Construction training is NOT included. Students must obtain it separately and submit their OSHA 30 completion card.
• Students must submit their existing SST documentation, OSHA 30 completion card and Supported Scaffold training certificate before SST Supervisor Card processing.
• This package provides 18 hours of training. Completion alone does not guarantee eligibility for an SST Supervisor Card; all previous training and outstanding DOB requirements must be verified.
• Students who have already completed any included course should have their training records reviewed before enrolling to avoid duplicate courses.
• All online training must be completed personally by the registered student. Account sharing or having another person complete any portion of the training is prohibited.
• Students must complete all instructional hours, required identity verification, participation monitoring and course assessments.
• Online delivery and any active proctoring must follow the requirements applicable to each course and SafeTek's approved training procedures.

UPON SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION
Upon successful completion, students receive the applicable course completion certificates documenting 18 hours of training. Students must provide their qualifying prior SST documentation, OSHA 30 completion card and Supported Scaffold training certificate for review before SST Supervisor Card processing. Card issuance is subject to verification of all applicable NYC DOB training and eligibility requirements.
ONLINE TRAINING
Students complete the approved online components through SafeTek's learning platform. All training must be completed by the registered student using their own account. Identity verification, participation monitoring and assessments are required as applicable to each course. Self-paced delivery is available only for courses approved for that format.
