Requirements

Students must possess a valid 10-Hour SST Worker Card and a valid 4-Hour Supported Scaffold User & Refresher certificate.
Students must also possess a valid OSHA 30 Construction card.
A government-issued photo ID is required for student verification.
Students must provide copies of their OSHA 30 card, SST Worker Card, and Supported Scaffold certificate for eligibility verification.
Students must have access to a computer, laptop, tablet, or smartphone with a stable internet connection.
Device must include a working camera and microphone for identity verification and/or course proctoring requirements where applicable.
Students must complete all required course hours, participation activities, assessments, and course evaluations to receive completion certificates.

Description

The 18-Hour Supervisor Upgrade Package is an online training program designed for students who already possess a valid 10-Hour SST Worker Card and 4-Hour Supported Scaffold User & Refresher training and wish to upgrade to a NYC SST Supervisor Card under Local Law 196 requirements.

This package includes:

8-Hour Chapter 33 Site Safety Manager Course
2-Hour Pre-Task Safety Meetings Course
2-Hour Site Safety Plan (SSP) Course
2-Hour Tool Box Talks Course
2-Hour Specialized Elective Course
2-Hour General Electives Course

SST Card is included upon the successful completion of this course and verification of a valid OSHA 30 Construction card in accordance with NYC DOB SST requirements.

This package is intended for construction workers, foremen, competent persons, and supervisors who already completed their 10-Hour SST Worker training and scaffold training and now need the remaining SST supervisor courses required for a NYC SST Supervisor Card.

Students will receive training on supervisory safety responsibilities, construction site communication, site safety planning, hazard recognition, worker coordination, and NYC Chapter 33 safety requirements in accordance with NYC DOB SST requirements.

Important Notes:

This package is intended only for students who already possess a valid 10-Hour SST Worker Card and 4-Hour Supported Scaffold User & Refresher training.
This package does not include OSHA 30 training.
Students must provide valid OSHA 30 and SST documentation before SST Supervisor Card processing.
All online training must be completed by the registered student only.
Identity verification and online participation monitoring may be required during the course.
